Background and Education

Ms. Jones was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on February 17, 1961. She graduated from the University of New Orleans in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in General Studies. She attended Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana from which she obtained her Juris Doctor degree in 2001. While at Southern, she was a student attorney in the Clinical Education Program representing indigents in civil litigation.

Bar Admissions

Ms. Jones is admitted to practice before the Louisiana Supreme Court, and all state district and appellate courts. She is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

Ms. Jones practices in the area of personal injury representing victims of automobile accidents, medical malpractice, premises liability and other forms of personal injuries.

Ms. Jones is a member of the Louisiana State and American Bar Associations. She is also a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
