Bradley M. Herrin

Brad Herrin is a native Missourian. After graduating from Rockhurst High school in Kansas City in 1979, he obtained his Bachelor of General Studies from the University of Missouri - Columbia in 1985 with an emphasis in political science, while at the University of Missouri - Columbia, Mr. Herrin completed an internship with the Missouri Attorney General's Office, working in the consumer complaints department, assisting Missourians who were the victims of fraud.

Mr. Herrin attended law school at the University of Missouri - Kansas City, graduating in 1988. While in law school, he served on the staff of the Urban Lawyer, was selected to work as a legal research and writing assistant, and, during his final year, was the graduate assistant for the University undergraduate debate team.

While in college and law school, Mr. Herrin served as an intelligence analyst in the United States Army Reserve and Army National Guard. Mr. Herrin spent time with both the 308th Psychological Operations Company and on the intelligence staff of the 35th infantry division.

Mr. Herrin began practicing law in 1988 and, ultimately, moved to the St. Louis area in 1991. After working for two St. Louis Area law firms and spending three years as a medical malpractice/nursing home liability analyst for a nationwide insurance claims company, Mr. Herrin opened his own firm in January 1997. Since that time, Mr. Herrin has focused his practice on representing residents and families in cases of nursing home abuse and neglect as well as other medical malpractice and serious personal injury matters. As a result of his experience in the area of nursing home abuse and neglect, Mr. Herrin was selected to author the Chapter entitled, "Nursing Home Residents Rights", in the Missouri Bar Association's publication, entitled, Elder Law. Mr. Herrin became Of Counsel to the Cochran Firm-St. Louis in January, 2004 where he continues to focus on representing victims of nursing home abuse and neglect, medical malpractice, and serious personal injury.

Mr. Herrin is admitted to practice law in both Missouri and Illinois and is a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association; Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys; Missouri Bar Association; Missouri Republican Trial Lawyers Caucus; The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis; and Christian Attorneys of St. Louis. In addition, Mr. Herrin is an adjunct faculty member and acting department chairman of the Paralegal Studies Department of Sanford-Brown College in Hazelwood, Missouri.
