Caprice Jenerson is a 1990 graduate of Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and a 1995 graduate of Georgia State University College of Law. While in law school, she was selected to participate in Moot Court, where she developed superb skills in brief writing and oral advocacy.

Caprice Jenerson practiced 11 years in a small but prominent criminal defense firm in Atlanta. There she quickly rose from an associate to Managing Attorney and Senior Appellate Associate. She has authored numerous appellate briefs in the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court, and the United States Court of Appeal for the Eleventh Circuit. Particularly in 1998, Caprice argued the case of King v. State (Sup. Ct. Ga., Dec. 4, 1998)(Daily Report, Dec. 7, 1998) before the Georgia Supreme Court which resulted in Georgia state courts making a verbatim record of guilty pleas in all misdemeanors involving jail time. Prior to joining The Cochran Firm, Caprice was a founding partner of Jenerson & Thompson, P.C., which focused on all aspects of post-conviction relief.

Caprice is admitted to practice in all the State and Superior Courts of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
