David A. McLaughlin was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina in 1967. He received a B.S. degree cum laude from the Christian Brothers University School of Business in 1989. He received his J.D. from the University of Memphis School of Law in 1992, where he was a member of the Editorial Board of Law Review.
Mr. McLaughlin was admitted to the Tennessee bar in 1992 and Arkansas Bar in 2007. He is also admitted to practice before the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, Western District of Tennessee, Middle District of Tennessee, Eastern District of Tennessee, and Northern District of Mississippi. Mr. McLaughlin is a member of the Memphis Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association, Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association and American Association for Justice.
Mr. McLaughlin was selected as a 2006 Mid-South Super Lawyer. Only 5% of the lawyers in Arkansas, Tennessee and Mississippi are selected for this honor.
