Farrest Taylor is a partner in the Dothan, Alabama office of The Cochran Firm. A graduate of the University of Alabama, Farrest attended graduate school on a fellowship at the University of Virginia where he received his Masters of Science degree. He subsequently obtained his Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law with high honors.

As an attorney with The Cochran Firm, Farrest has litigated a wide variety of cases and has been involved in some of the country's most significant, high-profile environmental cases. He has tried complex cases in a number of jurisdictions and has received numerous verdicts in excess of $1,000,000.00. He has also successfully argued cases before a number of appellate courts.

Farrest is a member of the Alabama Bar Association and the Virginia Bar Association. He is also a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Alabama Trial Lawyers Association and the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association.
