Harold L. Whitfield

Harold L. Whitfield is managing attorney of The Cochran Firm - Missouri. Recognized as one of the most influential trial attorneys in Missouri, concentrating his practice in the area of wrongful death and personal injury. Harold is a member of the prestigious International Academy of Trial Lawyers, as well as the Amercian College of Trial Lawyers. He is a recent recipient of the "Legend of the Law" award from the Mound City Bar Association.

Harold attended Washington University where he received his Juris Doctor in addition to his bachelor's degree in Business Administration.  He has served as Director of Conciliation for the State of Missouri's Commission on Human Rights from 1966-1970. He was the Administrative Assistant to the Regional Director of the U.S. Civil Service Commission from 1970-1974. An adjunct Professor of Law at Washington University of Law School, Harold is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, the Mound City Bar Association, and a lifetime member of the NAACP.
