Mr. Rolshouse developed his current business model in 1999 when, after learning of a medical device product recall, he began a national print advertising campaign to find clients who had utilized Sulzer Hip Implants. The day the first wave of calls came in from this national ad campaign marked the beginning of a new business model based strictly on a referral practice.
Over the years, Mr. Rolshouse’s law practice developed strong relationships with some of the country’s finest law firms to help people who have suffered due to product liability, defective drugs, and other personal injury issues. With the early successes in his law practice, Mr. Rolshouse was able to finance an ever-expanding advertising program that has evolved over the years to include national cable and syndicated TV; radio; magazine; newspaper and internet advertising including new initiatives with social networking sites such as Facebook and MySpace. His yearly advertising budget is based on a successful strategy of case selection that has resulted in business growth nearly every year of the firm’s existence.
As a testament to the success of the business model, Mr. Rolshouse’s law practice was able to operate and thrive for almost two years during his absence while he served with the US Army’s 1/34th Brigade Combat Team in Iraq as the Senior Medic in the Brigade from September 2005 until August 2007. Using an internet based secure client management software and a dedicated team of call center representatives, Mr. Rolshouse’s law office was able to provide a high level of customer service to their clients and to their associating law firms during his overseas tour of duty.
Mr. Rolshouse is admitted to practice law in the state of Minnesota and before the U.S. District Court.
