Jennifer Willis joined Mainor Eglet Cottle in November 2002 as an associate concentrating in medical malpractice and product defect cases, after nearly a decade of practicing law in Ohio's public and private sector.
Jennifer began her legal career in Columbus, Ohio at Ransier & Ransier, where she primarily represented a bankruptcy trustee in litigation and all phases of bankruptcy proceedings.
Based on her success with Ransier, Jennifer was appointed as assistant public defender in her hometown of Chillicothe, Ohio. In Chillicothe, Jennifer concentrated in family law and represented juvenile delinquents and parents of abused and neglected children.
As assistant public defender, Jennifer continued to concentrate in the representation of juveniles, including contracting with the State of Ohio to travel to economically disadvantaged counties twice a week to represent indigent people in juvenile court.
In May, 1999 Jennifer opened her own practice where she continued representing the underprivileged. As her practice expanded, Jennifer began representing the disadvantaged in the courtroom and became a skilled litigator.
Jennifer's legal reputation is built on a foundation of numerous settlements and trial victories and by her continuing commitment to each of her clients.
In November of 2002, Jennifer moved to Las Vegas to work with Mainor Eglet Cottle, where she continues to fight for the right of the disadvantaged.
Jennifer holds a bachelor's degree in political science, international studies and French from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio and a Juris Doctorate from Capital University School of Law. She is a member of the Nevada and Ohio Bar.
