Robert V. Torres heads The Cochran Firm Los Angeles' Employment & Labor Law Department.
Mr. Torres and his very capable team represent employees who have been victims of sexual harassment, discrimination, and wrongful termination, as well as employees who have been denied rest and meal breaks, minimum wage, and overtime.

Robert Torres is an outstanding civil trial attorney and litigator, practicing in Los Angeles County and throughout California since 1989. In addition to a passion for justice, he possesses exceptional analytical and advocacy skills that enable the pursuit of justice to become the achievement of justice. From the first client interview to the conclusion of the case, he works meticulously to obtain the best possible results for his clients.
Robert Torres graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1986. After UCLA, Mr. Torres attended SouthWestern University School of Law in Los Angeles and graduated in 1989. Mr. Torres was admitted to the State Bar of California, Federal District Court for the Central District of California and the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeal in 1989. He has also been pro hac vice in Federal Courts in Georgia and Mississippi.
From 1989 to 1991, Mr. Torres was an associate attorney in a Century City insurance defense litigation and trial firm representing, individuals, corporations, public entities, and insurance companies in civil litigation. In 1991, Mr. Torres joined a boutique civil business and tort litigation firm in Torrance, California. From 1994 until he joined the Cochran Firm, Mr. Torres operated his own law firm, the Law Offices of Robert V. Torres where the primary focus of the practice was Employment Law.
Mr. Torres also has represented numerous indiviuals in cases involving personal injury and wrongful death. Such cases include auto accidents, maritime seaman's injuries, assualt and battery, civil rights violations, and defamation.
