Sherrie M. Brady joined The Cochran Firm's Atlanta office, Cochran, Cherry, Givens, Smith, Sistrunk & Sams, in 2008. Her primary areas of practice are medical malpractice, wrongful death, catastrophic personal injury, premises liability, and complex litigation. Sherrie takes pride in vigorously advocating on behalf of each of her clients. She has been an instrumental part in several million dollar settlements.
Prior to joining the Cochran Firm, Sherrie interned for the Honorable Judge John J. Goger in the Superior Court of Fulton County and provided editorial assistance to Daniel’s Georgia Handbook on Criminal Evidence, 2008 edition. Her prior experience also includes matters in domestic litigation, commercial litigation and criminal defense.
Sherrie graduated from Spelman College with a B.A. in Economics and a minor in Writing. She received her J.D. from Georgia State University, College of Law, with honors in litigation. In law school, Sherrie was the managing editor of the college of law’s editorial, Treasurer of the Student Bar Association, and a graduate research assistant. She was among a select group of students participating in the Logan E. Bleckley Inn of American Court.
Sherrie serves on various professional and community boards. She is currently a member of the American Bar Association, Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, The Gate City Bar Association, Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
Sherrie has been admitted to practice before the Georgia State and Superior Courts and the Supreme Court of Georgia.
