Valerie Brennan is an associate in The Cochran Firm's Employment Litigation Practice Group, representing employees in discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination cases. Prior to joining The Cochran Firm, Valerie worked in the area of business law, and also gained experience in public advocacy while working at an international public policy institute as a motivational speaker. She has contributed to a variety of publications which have appeared in the New York Law Journal, CEB Civil Litigation Reporter, State Bar of California Real Property Journal, and California Lawyer. Valerie's business background, coupled with her passion for public advocacy, will bring a valuable dimension to the services that The Cochran Firm provides.

Valerie received her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law. During law school, she worked as a Teaching Assistant for the Legal Writing Department, and served as a Judicial Intern in New York and Florida. Valerie was also an award-winning member of two Moot Court Teams, and ranked in the Top 10 at a national moot court competition.

In addition to her legal experience, Valerie earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance Magna Cum Laude from the University of Central Florida, where she was President of the Panhellenic Council and a founding member of the Diversity Dialogue Consultants.

Valerie is admitted to the State Bar of California and is an active member of the Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles, Los Angeles County Bar Association, Hispanic National Bar Association, Mexican American Bar Association and Beverly Hills Bar Association.
