A man who witnessed the fatal shooting of Rayshard Brooks is scheduled to give his account of the shooting in Atlanta.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Melvin Evans, who is from Memphis, was with his friends at Wendy\u2019s when the events unfolded<\/a>. He described the chilling details of what he said happened during the shooting.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just seen him hit the ground. We were just ducking in the truck. My partner behind me was like, pull off. Back up. And I was like \u2018Nah I\u2019m not going to pull off.' Why this man have his gun in his hand. If I move, he 10 feet from the truck, I might run over them or something being nervous,\u201d Evans said during an interview with CNN<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Fulton County, Georgia District Attorney Paul Howard announced Wednesday<\/a> that criminal warrants have been issued against at least one of the police officers involved in the fatal shooting of Rayshard Brooks.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Brooks, 27, was shot by then Atlanta police Officer Garrett Rolfe on Friday after body camera footage showed he grabbed an officer\u2019s Taser and pointed it at officers, WSB-TV reported<\/a>. Police had been called because Brooks fell asleep in the drive-thru of a Wendy\u2019s restaurant in southwest Atlanta.<\/p>\n
