Kayann is an attorney with The Cochran Firm DC. Kayann’s practice focuses primarily on the areas of medical malpractice and personal injury.
Kayann has always had a passion for representing those without a voice. A native of Florida, Kayann earned her Master’s degree from Florida State University. In graduate school, she focused on an in-depth systematic evaluation of the effectiveness of criminal justice policies, as well as the discovery of the socio-cultural, economic, and global certified roots of crime. She took her zealous passion to Florida A&M College of Law, where she earned her law degree and served as a law clerk for the Office of the Federal Public Defender for the Middle District of Florida.
Kayann began her legal career at a rated AV preeminent plaintiff’s firm in Prince George’s County, Maryland, where her practice areas entailed civil litigation and administrative law. Kayann’s legal experiences provide her with broad exposure in the legal field and with a transferable skillset.
Kayann is a member of the District of Columbia, Florida, Maryland, and Virginia state bars, the District of Columbia Federal Bar, and the United States District Court for the District of Maryland.
