Marla Peterson is a Legal Nurse Consultant with The Cochran Firm, DC Marla graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Emory University in Atlanta, GA. She subsequently worked for 14 years as a Registered Nurse in Critical Care Units, Coronary Care Units, and for two years in Emergency Departments.

For more than 17 years, Marla has worked as a Legal Nurse Consultant to law firms practicing in the field of medical malpractice law, some of which were defense firms. She assists our firm’s attorneys in analyzing complex medical records, evaluating cases, reviewing medical literature, and in all aspects of the work-up of our medical malpractice cases.
