Together, Mr. Carter and Mr. Mitchell have 52 years of collective legal experience in the community and have amassed a huge track record of verdicts and settlements, including single settlements or verdicts of $25 million, $20 Million, $16 Million, and $10 Million. Mr. Carter is a former member of the New Orleans City Council and was elected to serve as the first African American Criminal Justice Commissioner in New Orleans’ history. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor at his alma mater, Howard University and Tulane School of Law. Mr. Mitchell was appointed by the Louisiana Governor to serve on Louisiana ‘s Medical Disclosure Panel. Mr. Mitchell is also the past president of the National Brain Injury Trial Lawyers Association.
