A graduate of Brooklyn Law School, Adam Silvera is an associate with Weitz Kleinick & Weitz. Admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey, Mr. Silvera concentrates on handling auto cases, premises liability and medical malpractice.
During law school, he worked in the office of Civil Court Judge, Honorable Doris Ling-Cohan and also served an internship in the Office for the Elderly, Bronx Legal Services. He is active in his lower East Side community and has served on the Boards of Directors Community Planning Board 3 and of several non-profit organizations including the Little Missionary Day Nursery at St. Mark's Place. Prior to attending law school, he served in the Constituency Cabinet for former New York State Governor Mario M. Cumo (1994). Currently he is the Democratic District Leader for Lower Manhattan.
