Russell D. Marlin

Russell Marlin is a native of Searcy, Arkansas where he spent many years working alongside his father as a cabinet maker. In 1996, he received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Regents College in Albany, New York and went on to attend the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, William H. Bowen School of Law. During law school, he served as an editor on the UALR law review and also had a published casenote on new developments in the law of discovery. He graduated from the UALR Law School in 2000 with honors.
Russell practiced in Central Arkansas for several years serving as Vice President of the law firm of Gary Eubanks and Associates in Little Rock. In 2008 Mr. Marlin moved to Memphis and joined the law firm of Nahon, Saharovich & Trotz, and on January 1, 2012, Mr. Marlin joined The Cochran Firm´s Memphis office.
During his career, Russell has successfully litigated hundreds of cases, resulting in millions of dollars in verdicts or settlements on behalf of his clients in a wide variety of practice areas, including personal injury, medical malpractice, nursing home neglect, pharmaceutical litigation, class actions, tractor trailer litigation, and insurance bad faith. He has served as National Liaison Counsel and a member of the Steering Committed for the Hormone Therapy Litigation where he represented women who had been injured by hormone therapy medications.
