As a managing partner in The Cochran Firm's South Florida office in Miami, Scott Leeds focuses his practice in the areas of medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, and personal injury litigation. He has litigated numerous high-profile cases to verdict or settlement, including what came to be known as the "Cuban Spy Case." Scott served as lead counsel and obtained a $27 million verdict on behalf of his client. A graduate of St. John's University in Pharmacy, Scott became a licensed pharmacist in New York and Florida. He then obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law. With experience in areas of pharmacy and law, Scott is a frequent lecturer to both legal and medical organizations.
A member of the prestigious Law and Leading Attorneys Directory, Scott has appeared on 60 Minutes and 20/20.He is a member of the Florida Bar Association, the American Society of Pharmacy Law, the American Bar Association the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and Dade Count Trial Lawyers Association.
