Managing Partner of The Cochran Firm Atlanta Office Celebrates Another Honor

Men Looking Ahead News Magazine recently honored Attorney Hezekiah Sistrunk, Jr. at its gala saluting Georgia's most powerful and influential lawyers. The evening awards ceremony took place February 15, 2011 at The Ritz-Carlton Buckhead (Atlanta) and Hez's support staff and other senior attorneys were on hand to share in the honor. In Hez's trademark humble style he thanked his entire staff acknowledging he couldn't be a success without them and the founder of The Cochran Firm, Johnnie L. Cochran, Jr., whom he called his mentor. In a moment that had the entire ballroom laughing, Hez referred to himself as a "little dude from South Carolina." Everyone at the table quickly responded "Hez, there is nothing little about you!" Hez was in excellent company: Georgia's former Attorney General Thurbert Baker and many of Hez's colleagues - some of whom he's known for 30 years - were also honored.
