Jane Mary Lamberti is a partner at The Cochran Firm Atlanta and a nationally recognized plaintiffs’ trial attorney representing individuals and families in catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases nationwide. She has secured more than $600 million in collectible verdicts and settlements, including multiple collectible eight-figure verdicts in trucking, medical malpractice, wrongful death, and brain injury cases.
Ms. Lamberti has extensive experience in complex medical malpractice litigation, including cases involving neurosurgery, cardiology, critical care, obstetrics and gynecology, cancer diagnosis, birth injury, and traumatic brain injury. Her honors include election to the Georgia Verdicts Hall of Fame, fifteen consecutive years as a Georgia Super Lawyer, recognition as one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers by The National Trial Lawyers Association, and an “AV” Preeminent Rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
Her scientific background distinguishes her work in highly technical cases. Before earning her law degree from Vanderbilt University, Ms. Lamberti graduated cum laude from Mount Holyoke College with a degree in chemistry and earned a master’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Virginia. She uses that training to simplify complex medical evidence for juries and works with leading neuropsychologists and neuroradiologists in traumatic brain injury and post-concussion syndrome cases.
Ms. Lamberti has served on plaintiffs’ steering and discovery committees in multidistrict mass tort litigation and began her career defending doctors and hospitals, giving her valuable insight into complex medical defenses. Today, she is known for meticulous preparation, command of medical evidence, and relentless advocacy for clients whose lives have been changed by catastrophic injury.
Her years practicing with renowned trial attorney Johnnie L. Cochran, Jr. helped shape her commitment to justice and zealous advocacy. Outside of her legal practice, Ms. Lamberti enjoys golfing, skiing, pilates, and spending time with her son and daughter, both of whom are medical students.
