Stephanie R. Correa began her legal career at The Cochran Firm in 2011. She is a litigator specializing in employment discrimination and civil rights matters.
Prior to joining The Cochran Firm, Ms. Correa was a judicial intern at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission where she worked with Administrative Law Judges in conducting research on issues relating to employment discrimination and retaliation. She also worked as a summer associate at Tuckner, Sisper, Weinstock & Sipser, a law firm specializing in women’s workplace rights.
She is involved in iMentor, a school-based mentoring program for New York City public high school students. She is also a member of the New York City Bar Association and the Puerto Rican Bar Association.
Ms. Correa is a graduate of St. John’s University (B.A., summa cum laude) and St. John’s University School of Law.
Ms. Correa is licensed to practice in New York State, as well as, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
