September 14, 2020- A Georgia Sheriff’s deputy has been fired after a video emerges that shows use of excessive force. The 26-year-old victim, Roderick Walker, was a passenger in a ride-share vehicle that was pulled over for an alleged broken rear light. Mr. Walker became upset when the officers asked for his ID, which Walker did not have since he was not driving. The situation escalated to result in Mr. Walker being removed from the car to be beaten and tased in front of his girlfriend and daughter.
