NBC 4 recently covered a press conference held by Karen Evans, partner with The Cochran Firm, D.C. Evans held the press conference in front of the D.C. Superior Court to announce the filing of a lawsuit in the Medric Mills case. The case was filed "after our many efforts and meetings with city leaders to hold these employees and the District accountable have proven largely unsuccessful with respect to the public duty doctrine," Evans said.
